Mildred, a 67-year-old grandmother, was out with her family to celebrate her birthday. The party was being held in the dining room of the El Matador Hotel. The guests all arrived at noon. They were informed that their table was not ready and that they could wait in the lounge. After a short 20-minute wait, headwaiter Hans arrived to inform them that a table was ready.
