Min Max normalization

if we have some repeated numbers, do we have to normalize all the numbers or we can drop some repeated number?

for example, if we have values: 2, 4, 5, 1, 3, 2, 8, 2, 5

in this situation, 2 repeats 3 times and 5 repeats 2 times, do we normalize 2 three times and 5 two times? or we can do only one time?

can you help me to solve this problem. you do not have to show work because I know how to do min-max normalize.
