Mo was leaving the office one day and stopped by his boss's office to say goodbye but she wasnt there. Seeing a stack of money on his bosss desk, Mo was afraid someone might steal it and put it in the drawer of his boss's desk. He tried several times to call her to tell her what he did, but she never answered. The next morning, when she discovered the money missing from the top of her desk, she looked at the security footage from the night before from the security camera posted outside of her office and saw that Mo was the only person to go into her office. When Mo arrived at the office, his boss started yelling at him in front of everyone saying, you are a thief, you stole my money! Mo tried to explain but his boss would not listen and called security to have Mo removed from the office. Mo lost his job and when other companies heard from his boss what happened, they refused to hire him. So, Mo sued his boss for defamation.

The law of the state of Panem defines defamation as knowingly making a false statement to a third person causing damage or harm to the reputation of the person who is the subject of the statement.

Using IRAC, determine if Mo has a case for defamation using the elements of the law and the facts of the case.
