Modish Maison owners aimed to modernize their operations as well by rising their work to a strategic digital transformation software. The Modish Maison management team envisions a complete system overall to enhance customer experience, streamline internal processes, and expand into the e-commerce space. The System involves the development and implementation of an integrated software system to revolutionize inventory management, customer engagement, and overall business efficiency.
The Development and Operations team in the information Technology Department that work for Modish Maison has held a meeting with the management team to talk about the structure of the new system, it main components, features and functionalities to the whole system. Based on the gathered Requirements from both teams they can start with the development process. First, they should collect some more detailed information to have full vision for the Modern Modish System.
Therefore, the features and functionalities for the system are the following:
The customer can log in through the system through his/her email and password. If the email and/or password are incorrect he/she cannot login to the system. Then the Customer can explore and check the furniture items through categories (Modern/ Traditional/Classic/Vintage). After finishing exploring the customer can place an order by adding the furniture items to the shopping cart. To place an order of course the Customer should pay for the order. The payment through modern modish system is an online payment were the Customer should add his/her credit card details. Modern Modish System check the visa card authentication and validity through the Bank System. If the Visa is not valid the Customer should add another visa card or he/she cannot purchase his/her order.
Modern Modish System offers a track order option to their customers, were the customer can check if the order is shipped, arrived or the order is on the way. After the customers receives the order, the customer can give his/her feedback on the system services.
Other than the customer, The Shipment Employee uses the system as well, where he check the Furniture Items Inventory which is available or not (Available in stock, not available/ low stock).
In the end, the Customer receives an electronic email receipt and a thank you message from Modern Modish System.
Based on your understanding for the previous system, you are required to solve the following:
1) Draw a use case diagram that shows all the functions that the new system must perform (2.5 points)
2) Draw a Design Class Diagram (DCD) that shows all the participating objects and the relationships between them. (2.5 points)
3) Draw an object sequence diagram for a scenario of place an order by a customer.(2.5 points)
4) Draw a collaboration diagram for the scenario pay for an order.(2.5 points)
Note: All diagrams must be drawn using the Visual Paradigm tool before submission
