Module 2 / Assignment #2 - Reflecting on Challenging Experiences

Identify one challenge or surprise that you encountered within your first weeks of your co-op placement.

Challenges could be something like:

• helping a difficult customer
• co-workers that you might not get along with
• software that you have never used before
• communication issues within the company
• an unexpected dress code
• and many others!

Challenges should not be:

• commuting to work
• being punctual

Describe the challenge that you have identified, the adjustments that you made to address it, and the future strategies that you will use to avoid this challenge.

Marks will be given for successfully explaining these 3 parts:

1. What Happened
2. How You Adjusted
3. Your Future StrategiesORThings That You Have Learned About Yourself as an Employee

This task is a reflection on what you have experienced. You should not need to use any outside sources to write this assignment. You are being asked to talk about your own personal experiences, in your own words.(However, if you do use outside sources, do not forget to provide academic citations for them. Work without citations, that has included information from outside sources will be highlighted as plagiarized.)
