Exercise 1: Review the chapter text about big data, especially the section about big data in the healthcare industry.

1. Find a healthcare organizations description of how it, in its organization, utilizes big data.

2. Review their description of this usage: For what purpose? Who performs the actual analysis? Can you tell whether the analysis is done internally or externally? Are the results current? Are the results useful in some way, and is that usefulness described?

3. If you were employed by this organization and you had been assigned to write this description, what would you do differently? Do you think you would use the data differently? If so, describe how. If not, explain why not.
