For each scenario listed below, identify the steps the consumer should take in order to get a refund or replacement based on consumer protection laws. Explain what might happen if those steps are taken.

Scenario 1 - Alex purchased a new stove for his kitchen from Best Buy. When the packaging was opened, there was a crack on the front left corner of the stove. What should Alex do?
Scenario 2 - Jane bought a vase online from an ad she saw on Facebook. The box was crushed and when she opened it, the vase was shattered too. What should Jane do?
Scenario 3 - Gary ordered a coffee mug from a seller on Amazon Marketplace using his credit card and never received it after six weeks of waiting. What should Gary do?
Scenario 4 - Khaliyah purchased a new winter coat from Kohl's and before she could even wear it, she discovered a rip in one of the pockets. What should Khaliyah do?
