Total Annual Ads Costs

A company advertises Microsoft products on a sports telecast. As the company buys more ads, the price of each ad decreases as shown in the following table. For example, if the company buys 8 ads, it pays $11000 per ad, but if the company buys 14 ads, it pays $10000 per ad.

The company keeps a record of last years ads purchased in each month. Please design a spreadsheet workbook to show: (1) what is the price per ad to charge in each month? (2) what is the ads purchasing cost in each month? (3) what is the total annual ads costs?

Requirements:

  1. Give an appropriate range name to the ads price table, and paste the range name.
  2. Use appropriate functions to retrieve the right price per ad for the number of ads that the company has bought in each month of the last year.
  3. Use appropriate functions to calculate the monthly ads costs and total annual ads costs.
  4. Use IFERROR function to avoid the error message.
