Moral Development/Morality is something that we as a society talk a lot about but have you ever stopped to really think about how morals develop? For this discussion post I want you to answer the following questions, taking some time to write a few sentences for each one. 1) What is morality? It's okay to use a definition from your textbook or other sources but make sure you cite your source AND put some thought into answering this question in your own words. 2) Where do our morals come from? Is nature or nurture more predominantly at work in moral development? 3) Is morality present at birth? Are we born good or bad? Can that change throughout the lifespan? According to Kohlberg some people will never acheive his hightest level of morality, why do you think that may happen?
