Motivating employees through empowerment is the ultimate goal in any organization, including corrections. When employees are motivated to do a good job they are much more likely to follow established policy and procedures. Part of this motivation, however, must come from having a say in the development or revision of policy and procedure. How can we get staff involved in that process
