Mr John Kamau executed his will in 2020 in which he made the following bequets:
(a) Kshs. 10,000,000 to be used to build a recreation centre for the elderly people in Nairobi.
(b) Kshs. 1,000,000 to the University of Nairobi to provide scholarships for law students in the hope that they will challenge the increasing attacks by the current government on our civil liberties.
(c) Kshs 1,000,000 to further the good work of the Wagonjwa Cancer Hospice.
(d) Kshs. 10,000,000 to the Heaven Bound Church.
Kamua died in January 2023. His will was read out to his dependants by his lawyer. It was then discovered that the Wagonjwa Cancer Hospice was closed in 2022. Also, by the time of Kamau's death, the Heaven Bound Church had been proscribed and deregistered on the grounds that its teachings amounted to brainwashing which is harmful to its followers, especially the youth.
Analyse the validity of each of the above bequests made by Kamau and what should happen to the gifts thereunder. Support your answers with the relevant case authorities
