Mr. Leung saw an advertisement in the newspaper. "Special Chinese New Year Offer, $1,200 for a suite for the whole day and watch the fireworks display in the harbour, Harbour Plaza Hotel." He immediately called at the hotel and paid the manager a sum of $1,200 and said, "Boy! My family is going to have a great time in the hotel and the fireworks". The next day he read in the newspaper that owing to serious damage to the fireworks while on transit from America the display is cancelled. Mr. Leung quickly returned to the hotel and asked for the refund of the $1,200, but the manager refused to oblige.
