Additional information:

3. On 1 July 2021 Mr. Matthews increased his capital to R150000. The increase was charged to the long-term loan. Mrs Pietersen reduced her capital contribution with R30000 on 1 February
2021.
4. Mr. Matthews earns a salary of R8000 per month while Mrs. Pietersen earns R10500 per month from 1 November 2020. The total salaries paid to Mrs. Pietersen was recorded in the debtors control account.
5. Interest of 15.5% per year must be provided for on the capital.
6. Interest on current accounts must be provided at 8% per year on the opening balances.
7. Interest of 5% is charged on the drawings.
8. The partners share profits and losses in the ratio of capital contributed at the start of the financial year.
