Mr. Pete owns Mr. Pete's Pet Shop. He prides himself as being a local store that has the ability for its customers to place orders over the phone and then are delivered to the customer's home.
This year, Mr. Pete is looking to extend his reach beyond the local community and would like to have the ability for potential customers to order online. He wants to start with a few of his most popular items first before opening his entire inventory to the Internet. The items he would like to sell via the Internet are:
KONG Plush Rosie the Rhino Squeaker Dog Toy (Retail Price: $7.50)
KONG Squirrel Cat Nip Toy (Retail Price: $7.50)
Blue Buffalo, Blue Wilderness Indoor Adult Cat Food, Dry, Chicken, 11 Pounds (Retail Price: $33.99)
Nutro Max Kitten Food, Dry, Roasted Chicken, 16 Pounds (Retail Price: $24.50)
Blue Buffalo, Blue Life Protection Formula Puppy Food, Dry, Chicken & Brown Rice, 30 Pounds (Retail Price: $45.99)
Eukanuba Adult Maintenance Dog Food, Dry, Lamb & Rice, 30 Pounds (Retail Price: $33.99)
Cesar Savory Delights Adult Dog Food, Wet, 1 Can (Retail Price: $0.75)
Fancy Feast Classic Adult Cat Food, Wet, 1 Can (Retail Price: $0.59)
Write a php script to process the customer's order and print an appropriate "receipt" with the date/time the order was processed. Note to "celebrate going online", Mr. Pete wants to build in a few perks for ordering online:
The shipping fee is a flat $10.00
Tax in NY is 8.75%
Returning customers get a 5% discount
New customers get a 7% discount
Free shipping on orders of more than $50.00
Orders that have a combination of kitten/adult dog OR adult cat/puppy food (DRY food only), get a KONG Rhino Squeaker Dog Toy FREE!
Show the customer that buying more WET dog or cat food can save them more by generating an appropriate table
1 - 4 cans --> normal price
5 - 10 cans --> take $0.03 off the price of each can
11 - 15 cans --> take $0.04 off the price of each can
16+ cans --> take $0.05 off the price of each can
To create the table, you can use one of the following two methods ONLY:
1. echo all the HTML needed for the table, and have your entire file be inside php tags.
2. Have the table in HTML and put short php scripts into the table data (the short php scripts will just echo the variable values)
