Mr. Takei plans to add a new flavour of mochi ice-cream to his menu at his Japanese restaurant. He prepared two candidates: coconut and matcha (green tea). To gauge which flavour will be more popular among his customers, he randomly selected 100 customers and offered them a complimentary mochi with one of the two flavours. 50 customers were offered the matcha flavour and the other 50 the coconut flavour. Each customer was asked to rate the ice-cream flavour they tried using a scale of 1 - 5, 1 being 'strongly dislike', and 5 being 'strongly like'

Can you advise Mr. Takei if he can conclude that coconut is better perceived than matcha at a 5% level? What about at the 1% level? Please explain.
