msoft (EM), founded in 1976 is a multinational information technology (IT) corporation best-known for their software products and leading operating systems. EM has been experiencing revenue losses and part of the refocusing efforts of EM is to explore the possibility of a buy-out or merger, the management team of EM prepared the following informal proposal for consideration at the next partners meeting. "EM can merge with recent artificial intelligence giant Chat GPT (GPT). GPT is the mastermind, behind the infamous artificial intelligence (AI) software that has taken over the world. EM is not listed yet, but with the artificial intelligence that GPT has established, this has the potential to change the entire landscape for EM. Let us convert our competitor into our partner and seek ways to optimize business operations with AI learning. EM can become the exclusive cloud provider for every tool under the Chat GPT banner. GPT has 4 IT partners, (one of whom is related to EM Management personally) that EM can easily absorb. We propose that if we pursue this option, EM and GPT should merge on 1 January 2024. At that date all existing partners of EM and GPT will automatically become partners of the new merged firm. The combined profits earned by the new firm will be shared evenly amongst all the partners.
