The organization has investigated these programs in the past and has collected some data regarding the cost of the training programs, types of programs employees are interested in, and survey results. You were provided information and data to make sense of the situation so that you can provide a recommendation to your leadership. View the Training/Professional Development Program Data in the Wk1 Assignment Data Set workbook for the following: Information about the survey that was deployed to employees to gather information about their desire to obtain professional development A description of the cost of professional development per employee Information about the survey that was deployed to employees to gather information about how they would prefer to attend professional development Complete the Data Source and Data Type Worksheet based on the information in the workbook. Submit your assignment. A 1 This workbook contains various tabs that include information and data about professional development opportunities. The following is a description of the information found on each tab. 2 Desirability Survey: Data was collected from managers and employees to determine their perceptions of potential professional development opportunities. The 10 questions asked participants to choose a score from 1-7 for each question where the following scores applied: 1= strongly disagree, 2=disagree, 3=slightly disagree, 4=neutral, 5= slightly agree, 6=agree, 7=strongly agree. The questions asked address employees' desires, perceptions, and likelihood of attending professional development sessions. The maximum total score of the survey is 70 and reflects a strong desire to obtain professional development. The minimum total score of the survey is 10 and reflects a weak desire to 3 obtain professional development. To view the responses to the survey, click on the "Desirability Survey" tab at the bottom of the workbook. 4 Costs: Information was collected from vendors with respect to how much various amounts of professional development would cost. To view 5 this information, click the "Costs" tab at the bottom of the workbook. 56 Delivery Preference: Participants were interviewed to determine what kinds of professional development they wanted.
