My main takeaways from the video about the differences between leadership and management are well developed due to the watching the Youtube video. In leadership, there is an ability to be able to influence others by motivating and voicing their success. In management though, there is more control of the overall group in order to achieve a certain objective. these differences are widely range but for sure have their own needs and definitions. The TedTalk presenter did a great job explaining this and it really helped me truly understand the central idea. A world world example of this is a manger of a business, within this business is a team leader. The manager is more ideally the control over the group in order to achieve the goal while the leader is the support of the group. Two strategies that an individual can use to effectively exhibit the roles of leadership and management are vast. For leadership, one can be uplifting and be the voice of others. This may mean addressing success, support, and being a light for others to go. Now for management this needs to be more direct, by giving directions and setting expectations.
