My name is Pookie Elizabeth Hightower and I am new to the United States. Recently I found myself in a bit of trouble with law enforcement. I was accused of stealing the following items out of Wal-Mart: a car battery, a microwave, LG cell phone ($79.00 value), microwave popcorn, hot dogs, hot pockets, and a 65 inch Sony color television with a built in CD player and remote control. Please walk me through the steps I will endure from arrest to sentencing. Please note that I am from Australia and came to New Orleans to celebrate during the Voodoo Fest, which was cancelled due to the pandemic. I have no money, no job, or family here. The friends that I came here with from Australia, returned home shortly after learning of my arrest
