My opponent is stating that County General County refers their patients to outside sources as well as offer inside therapists. However, how would a client know that a therapist isn't license. My client was under the assumption that to practice as a therapist one should be licensed; she wouldn't know why a therapist isn't licensed or why EDD would not accept the therapist as her doctor if she has been the one helping her for months. Another argument that my opponent is asserting is that my client did not have a licensed practitioner submit the paperwork in the required time [20 days] but my client left General County' plan and could not see another psychiatrist until 30 days had passed. Is there an argument I can make that if my client did everything she could to get into another health plan, found a psychiatrist who has confirmed that my client is unable to work and she be place on disability and although my opponent is agreeing to this argument she is stating that my client should not be paid within that time frame of let's say the day she was to return to work until a month later because she is asserting: (1) the form was not signed by a licensed physician; and (2) the paperwork was not submitted on time.
