My personal leadership profile is reflective of "Team Leader", I prefer to use a transformational leadership style, engaging my staff and leading by example. This leadership style is complimentary to the culture and climate of the organization because it gives me the opportunity to manage staff using an approach that aligns with the mission, vision and goals of the organization. Combining these strengths to address the two areas of opportunity identified earlier in the paper shows commitment and willingness to create a working environment, using a holistic approach. To address the first area of opportunity, improving communication between the specialty and primary care departments, I plan to request a volunteer from each department to participate in a 5 minute clinic wide huddle daily, who will then relay the information back to their team. I also plan to cross-train and rotate staff between the two departments so they can share information and capitalize on the skill knowledge of others. The second area of opportunity will be addressed by locating an area where staff and family members can meet to discuss important information and make decisions related to care. The environment will be inviting and provide comfort and relaxation during times of stress
