My take away from watching Jason Shens TED talk is that employers should be looking more thoroughly at who they are hiring, people are more than just "keywords". There's more to someone than what's on a piece of paper. I agree with what he says that when hiring someone, they shouldn't just be looking if they went to the best school, have the most experience or the highest GPA. There's always circumstances for different people, and who wants all the same type of people working for them anyway? You want people with unique views and different perspectives and experience with different things. I wonder what's going to happen in the future since everything is becoming digitalized. I wonder if society is going to keep replacing jobs and tasks like hiring employees with computer systems and digitalized algorithms? Will more and more jobs be replaced because of this?
