My work environment's formal elements, such as the schedule and hours, have an impact on me. Unambiguous guidelines for working hours, breaks, and personal requirements encourage job happiness. The actual surroundings, including lighting, temperature, and noise levels, can have a big impact on an employee's comfort and productivity. My physical work environment also affects me in this way. Higher focus and creativity can be facilitated by a well-planned and relaxing office. "if your employees do not have the proper tools and resources to perform their job, the inevitable result will be poor work product. In the same vein, job performance will naturally drop in an environment with poor management" (Thomas 2018). There are instances when I don't have the resources, I need in my workplace to complete daily tasks effectively and on schedule. There are occasions when the workplace's physical conditions aren't ideal, and it takes some time for the problem to be resolved. As an illustration, one program on my computer won't run because of a recent upgrade. So, we would have to wait for a systems engineer to work on it. I'm not the only one who can do the work if everyone in my organization uses the same program. The entire company is unable to carry out its duties.

The company's culture is one of informal elements of my workplace that I value. A company's culture is formed by its unwritten rules, core principles, and beliefs. An effective workplace culture may energize staff and help them match their efforts with company objectives. "Today's workforce is more diverse than ever. Managers are chal- lenged to bring together employees of different backgrounds in work teams. This requires going beyond the surface to deep-level diversity" (Nelson 2013). Support for a healthy work-life balance is another informal factor that is significant to me. Stress and burnout can be decreased with the ability to manage personal and professional commitments. Support for work-life balance demonstrates the company's concern for the wellbeing of its employees. Due to the fact that my family is my most important value and I have one, this is significant to me. They will always take precedence over everything and everyone.

The formal and informal aspects of a work environment both have a significant impact on how employees are treated and how satisfied they are with their jobs as a whole. While informal aspects foster a sense of camaraderie, fulfillment, and a good emotional connection to the job, formal aspects offer structure and direction.
