Using the same scenario answer the essay question for Part B:

Over the long-run in the US, from the late 19th century to the present, the number of births per woman has fallen, married women's labor force participation has risen, women's time in home production has fallen, and the age at first marriage has risen. The real wage for women also increased greatly during this period.

Part B: Since women's real wages were increasing, we can assume that their real non-labor incomes were as well. Explain what could be examples of such non-labor income and why and how an increase in real non-labor income might change your answer in (a) regarding married women's labor force participation.
