Name Jed Doe Date Today NaF 2.2mg/ml Flavor please sic: 1ml ad Disp: 30 mL Refills 7 Dr. 7. Orame 1. Perform all necessary calculations and fill out the compounding record. 2. Pre-calibrate (and mark) a bottle to ordered quantity. 3. Add methylparaben and flavor to the aliquot, then QS to final volume with water. 4. Remove calibration mark from bottle with alcohol, and label appropriately. 1. Determine the weight of NaF needed by using the concentration desired and the total volume to be dispensed. Note: Source of Methylparaben is a0.25%w/v aqueous solution. 2. Determine how many mL of 0.25% methylparaben solution will be needed to ensure a 0.1% methylparaben concentration in final product by doing the following: a) Determine how many mg of methylparaben are in the provided stock solution. b) Determine how many mg of methylparaben are required in the final product volume to ensure 0.1%. c) Use this value to determine how many mL of the 0.25% solution will provide the required quantity of methylparaben. Place calculations in compounding record
