I have been told by management it's because it is easier mold those new and younger associates rather than a season associate. 2. Yes, I would say after watching the video I have had some unconscious biases in the past and didn't realize it. 3. Unconscious biases might affect members of a selection committee when selecting who to interview or who to hire, they might look at someone with a college degree and decide they are the best person for the job without interviewing someone who doesn't have a college degree. 4. As an HR professional I would mitigate unconscious biases on a selection committee by having a diverse hiring committee that bring different perspectives to the hiring process
