Kelly, hospital administrator at Anderson Hospital must appoint head nurses to four newly established

departments: urology, cardiology, orthopedics, and pediatrics. She has interviewed four nurses - Morris,

Richards, Cook, and Morgan - and developed a misfit index scale ranging from 0 to 100. An index of 0

implies that the nurse would be perfectly suited to that task. A value close to 100 implies that the nurse is

not at all suited to head that unit. The following table, also in Assignment worksheet, gives the complete

set of index scales that Kelly feels represent all possible assignments.
