Current Situation

SWOT analysis or the SWOT matrix is an analysis system designed to check the strategic

position of a company in its sector or industry. The purpose of the SWOT matrix is to examine

the external and internal environments of an organization by identifying and analyzing the

strengths and weaknesses of the company, and the opportunities and threats to which a firm is exposed. To understand the current situation of Andrews Company, the SWOT analysis was

performed to analyze its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Andrews' Strengths

The first aspect of the SWOT matrix identifies the strengths, enabling Andrews Company

to overcome its weakness, take advantage of available opportunities, and withstand threats in its

field of operation. The strengths are internal factors explicit to the conditions in the business

organization. In the case of Andrews, the following were the most notable strengths: high-profit

margins, effective and rapid innovation processes, large market share, effective product portfolio,

and high production capability.

Andrews is a resilient and valuable brand in its market. This company can, therefore,

introduce new commodities that are profitable through virtue of a strong brand reputation in the

marketplace. Andrews also has a large market share in the industry it is operating, implying that

other companies find it complicated to compete with it.
