Digital Marketing Methods
For digital marketing of our park and its reopening, we should focus on very visual social
media marketing approach. Aside from the social setting and atmosphere that our park offers, the
primary allure of our attractions is a thrilling outdoor multi-sensory experience.which should be
visually simulated as closely as possible when marketing in the digital realm.
I feel that the best way to visually appeal by digital means to the younger generations
such as Gen Zers, who gravitate toward short digital video content, would be to contract a
videographer to film 4K, VR 360 "Move" videos from a 1st person point-of-view on each of our
rides. We could then contract a digital promotion company to push our videos as suggestions on
YouTube and get them tagged on Instagram to increase views and attract parkgoers.
In addition to the visual social media marketing, we should also explore strategies to comarket
with other brands that appeal to our target market. Research conducted could reveal other
brands strongly correlated to the children, teen, family demographic we are targeting. Deals with
these other brands could be pursued in which they advertise our park on their own social media
and website while we do the same for them in exchange. We could also digitally partner with the
parent company of any licensed characters we already employ or any food of beverage
companies we currently sell products for at the park. By appearing on the social media platforms
of multiple brands we will increase our visibility. A more detailed digital co-marketing technique
would be to employ social media giveaways. In this, somebody who comments on one of our
Instagram posts, either on our page or a partner's page, and tags a friend, will be entered into a
prize draw for free tickets.
Exciting visual content on the internet will fulfill two marketing goals, as with traditional
marketing, it will stimulate nostalgia in viewers who have visited our park in the past and it will
excite viewers who have never experienced what we offer. If done correctly, we should be able to attract old customers to return and new customers to have a new fun and exciting experience
with us.
