Need help in rewriting this in my own words, please

There can be several consequences of failure. One of which is loss of time and loss of money. The consequences of failure are costly on many levels. Failure of organizational changes may have minor or major consequences for stakeholders associated with an organization and on the ultimate survival of an organization (Lewis, Kouzes, & Posner, pg. L24)." There is always an

investment of time and money when it comes to change in an organization. In looking at the

self-evaluation papers, one can see that there is resistance to change in management skills. There

is also resistance to cross-cultural awareness. There seems to be a want to change emotional

intelligence.

There are different ways of dealing with change resistance. "Lack of investment and resourcing for change management, often due to a lack of understanding of what change management actually is, was cited as another obstacle to successful change management work (Prosci, 1994)." There is also resistance to change via organizational culture. The culture of the organization can create resistance to change and change in management. Internal differences can create issues as well. When employees cannot work with each other, the company is the one that suffers. To have a successful change, everyone needs to be on board and willing to accept the change. Our management needs to be able to implement the change, and employees need to be able to approach management with any issues or concerns. Internal differences need to be worked out, addressed, and cultural awareness needs to be input. Management and staff must work together to implement the change needed to move forward.
