Each of the above-selected data points from the employee engagement survey indicates

several key areas of growth for the company. Lack of growth opportunities are commonplace at

the U.S. branch where only 7.5% of employees have seen a promotion in the last 2 years which

is an abysmal number. With leveled positions (i.e. Analyst I, Analyst II), companies can offer

promotional opportunities to staff to increase morale. Low morale has translated to the

engagement of the organization as employees indicate they are unfamiliar with the company's

vision or direction. Low morale and engagement have led to employees becoming less interesting in understanding and therefore contributing to the organization's vision. This may

stem from management concerns as senior leadership communicates the direction and sets the

vision for the organization. While employees tend to trust middle management more, senior

leadership lacks the openness and trustworthiness to have an impact on the employee experience

(Employee Engagement, 2021). Each of these data points shows a clear indication that the

company is not doing enough to support employees. Change is needed to avoid further decreases

in engagement and continued low performance.
