Refer to the level tank model we reviewed in class. Use all the process parameters specified below to examine open-loop dynamics of the tank level for a single disturbance change in inlet flow rate. Steady state tank level =10cmFis(t=0)=1200 cm3/min=Fe,s Cross sectional area =184cm2 Initial conditions are at steady state with h=10 and both flows at 1200 . Then introduce a step change in Fi to 1250cm3/min. Use Polymath (https://frame.nutanix.com/worcester- polytechnic-institute) in each case to show the open-loop response. (graph of h versus time) a) Outlet flow remains fixed at Fes. b) Fout =kh; where k=120 c) At t=0 inlet flow is shut off d) Same as (c) but Fout =kh; where k=120 e) Same as (c) but Fout =kh1/2; where k=120 o Implement Proportional control that simulates manipulating outlet flow based upon measuring tank height. The set point should be h=10cm. You'll need some sense of how to set Kc. However, we haven't covered methods for doing that yet hence there will be some trial and error to get a response that is "acceptable" - your assessment of what that means. For these conditions maybe starting at Kc= 100 is OK. Submission guidelines: show your code in each case and use screen shots or other appropriate plots to display the h versus time plots. Some brief comments about simulations results expectations would be good
