Need help with stats homework!
A restaurant manager wants to improve the sales and service in his restaurant. Therefor, he decided to conduct a few tests to see where he can improve. He began to wonder if there was a direct relation between time spend in a restaurant and the total bill amount of the customer at the of the day.
He was in fact wondering if there's a relationship between the time (x) a customers spends in a restaurant and their bill amount (y). He observed 35 clients and found the following stats: (x)average of time= 50 minutes, sx=12 minutes, (y) average of the bill=35$, sy=9$, sxy=27$. From this data, the manager now wonders if there is a linear relationship between these factors. If the test level is of 5%, determine the appropriate statistic test and determine if yes or no, there is a significant linear relationship between the time and the amount.
