In many ways, the initial problem set is the hardest of all problem sets. This is not intentional, it is just that there's no other way of doing this work than to jump fully into doing it. Please do not be discouraged and ask questions during class. Also, see me during my office hours if you can't figure out how to get started with chapter 2. I will be demonstrating how to do this work in Excel. Be sure to have Excel installed and PHStat up and running. Before working on the last three problems, you may want to review my note on Problem Set A bins. If you don't label your work properly, you will earn zero points. Please follow the instructions on labeling Excel work in Canvas. Please read chapter 2 and do the following problems: 2.35 2.36 2.43 2.94 2.96 Please be sure to complete the problems from the 9th edition. The problems are available here .
