In Chapter 1, "Analyzing Business Goals and Constraints," you first learned about ElectroMyCycle, a manufacturer of electric motorcycles. Now, ElectroMyCycle has chosen you to design a new network that will let the company scale to a larger size. In Chapter 5 , you learned that ElectroMyCycle's network will support about 200 employees. The network will include a data center and a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Users in the campus network will access the servers in the data center from their PCs. To support online sales, ElectroMyCycle plans to have a DMZ that connects a web server, a DNS server, and an email server. ElectroMyCycle recently has opened a new branch sales office in a city that is about 500 miles from ElectroMyCycle's headquarters. Design a private IP addressing scheme to meet these needs which includes a direct connection to the branch office. Specify which IP address blocks will be assigned to each modules of your network design. Document whether you will use manual or dynamic addressing for each module. 1. Create the network in the Packet Tracer to include: a) Assign an IP address to all devices that require a static address b) DHCP services c) Include the team's number on the index.html web page d) Rename the web site soit.edu e) Set up a DNS service for the web site f) Set up an Email server and create accounts for at least two users each in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales g) Annotate each device using your naming convention h) Annotate IP address of all devices with a static IP address C6 Design Scenario: ElectroMyCycle This study source was downloaded by 100000838650292 from CourseHero.com on 03-05-2023 15:43:17 GMT -06:00 Neither VLANs nor NATs are required to be configured in Packet Tracer for this assignment (we will cover these topics later this semester). Include the remote site on the Packet Tracer network, however, other than assigning IP addresses, you do not need to assign services. 2. Given the subnets and the number of users; assign each subnet an IPv4 address with CIDR, broadcast, and default gateway. ( 25 points) 3. Which devices will have an IP assigned manually? Which devices will receive IP addresses dynamically? Why? (5 points) 4. Insert a screenshot of the DHCP pools - if pools cannot be easily seen, list the contents of each pool. (10 points) 5. Insert a screenshot of a host obtaining a dynamic address. (5 points) 6. Describe and document your naming convention. Give examples of your scheme. ( 5 points) 7. In this document, submit a screenshot of the network diagram; ensure all devices are properly annotated ( 30 points). Insert a screenshot of an email delivered to a host (10 points)Step by Step Solution
