Need to write a Java program that compares two weeks of driving for uber or lyft. Program assumes that the driver drives for only one service for each week. Program asks what service they used, miles driven, minutes driving and then calculates a base pay and extra earnings. Base pay for both services is: Base Pay = $1.35 * miles driven + $0.24 * minutes driving. Extra earnings for uber is it will ask you what your acceptance rate is. If 95% or more earns 20% additional of base pay. For lyft it will ask tips and driver receives 100% of tips. After two weeks of information it prints week 1 earnings, week 2 earnings, which week you earn more (could be same) and then total earnings. Below is a sample output of what the code needs to look like. Program needs to include at least 5 static methods other than main to eliminate the redundant code. No for loops.
This program compares the earnings of two weeks worth of driving for the ride share services Uber and Lyft. Information for Week #1: did you drive for 1) Uber or 2) Lyft? 1 How many miles did you drive this week? 400 How - - Base earnings $1080.00 - What was your drive acceptance rate? 96 -- Extra earnings $216.00 - many hours did you drive this week? 37.5 Information for Week #2: did you drive for 1) Uber or 2) Lyft? 2 How many miles did you drive this week? 393 How -Base earnings $1048 .95- How much did you earn in tips? 375 -Extra earnings $375.00- many hours did you drive this week? 36 leek 1 Earnings $1296.00 vleek 2 Earnings-$1423.95 You earned more in week 2 Total Earnings $2719.95Step by Step Solution
