Two such achievements in the last year that I think deserve particular attention are Lucie's Resource Fair in Fall 2023 and her transition of students into a brand new major, Music Industry. In Fall 2023, Lucie engaged in planning a first-ever campus resource fair for the School of Music, which involved engaging with various campus partners to put on a half-day event at the School, with the hopes of engaging our current students in understanding which resources were available to them. Lucie spent months communicating with partners, communicating with students, building the event, and engaging with external vendors. On the day of the event, Lucie helped MC the event and was the liaison for all vendors at the event, ensuring the event went smoothly and participants had a meaningful experience. We were particularly thrilled to receive positive anonymous feedback from our partners that day, and look forward to doing it again in the future. Lucie's other major accomplishment in the last year was a great example of her structured approach to advising. With the knowledge that we had a new degree coming online in Fall 2023 (Music Industry), Lucie worked with the Music Industry IDP to ensure that current students, too, had the opportunity to be matriculated into the degree.
