- Eight years ago Susan was convicted on multiple charges of theft and served one year in prison.
- One of Susan's employees, who is twenty-five years old, was convicted five years ago of graffiti vandalism for which she was fined $800.
- Susan has installed an expensive, state of the art, burglar alarm system in the salon.
