NIOSH's vision for Total Worker Health (TWH) is to continue the promotion and expansion of safety research and translate those findings into more effective safety practices for different work environments across the country. NIOSH believes it will take educational trainings and simulated scenarios where employees will take what they have learned and put it into practiced. This vision, however, does not have a set target which will make it difficult to calculate how effective TWH has become a reality at various companies. This causes the vision, to me, to be more subjective than objective when it comes to evaluating its success. According to Heidi Hudson and her team who wrote Total Worker Health stated how the U.S. Healthy People 2010 initiative had a goal of 75% of companies offering a worksite health promotion (WHP) program by 2010. However, of the companies with 50 or more employees surveyed only 7% had a WHP program that included all the required elements; and only 24% of companies with 750 or more employees had a complete WHP program (Hudson et al., 2019). I agree with NIOSH on what it will take to complete this vision, but I am unsure on how big or small
