A maximum of 40 gallons of ingredient-A could be purchased at $1.17 per gallon, and up to 30 gallons of ingredient-B could be purchased at $1.54 per gallon. Management at Edwards has estimated that the demand of Hot sauce is 20 gallons, and Mild sauce is 25 gallons. A certain level of flexibility is permitted in the formulas of these products. The allowable percentages, along with revenue data are given in the table below.
