Nolan is visiting Brighton. Nolan bears a striking resemblance to the famous footballer Daniel Peckham. Nolan sees a vintage Aston Martin which is for sale. He calls the owner, Casey, an elderly widow, and they agree to meet. Nolan asks Casey if he can buy the car on credit. Nolan says: 'You can trust me, I'm Daniel Peckham'. Casey has never heard of Daniel Peckham and inquires at her local police station. The officer on duty replies: 'Mr Peckham's wealthy, he used to play football abroad'. Casey agrees to let Nolan have the car. Nolan then sells the car to Edwin without ever paying Casey.
