  • MEMO To: Employees of the said Organization From: Lisa Barron, HR Manager RE: Company Policy on use of the internet by the employees It has been brought to our attention that there are quite a few employees utilizing the internet during company work hours. It is not realistic to believe that all the personal use of the internet at work can be prohibited. That kind of a prohibition is not possible, however; any restriction on the websites they visit can be made strict by restricting access to the sites. IT personnel can restrict and ban certain websites This will in turn restrict access in visiting certain websites. This is to hereby inform all the employees of the (XYZ) organization is that, the personal usage of the internet for sending personal mails or visiting unauthorized websites is a breach as per the company policy that is currently set in place. Employees are requested to use their entire time for learning things that are relevant to their job profile. Anything other than that is not acceptable. Serious consequences are to be faced, if anybody is found guilty of using internet for their personal work. You will be closely monitored by the surveillance cameras and IT personnel. All the managers and department heads will keep a close watch on the employees of their respective departments and any issue on the breach of the security and access of the internet should be reported to the HR department and Payroll division. Ma'am/Sir, if you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any personnel within the HR department located here at XYZ Company.
