Normally, interview questions only find out if an interviewee is smart enough to know the right answer. If you ask an person in an interview "Do you work well with others?" or "Are you a person of integrity?" everyone knows the "correct" answer to these questions. The secret to effective interviewing is asking questions that tease out these qualities indirectly, or without the interviewee knowing they are revealing the qualities you are looking for.
