Not quite sure how to analyze the chart when I hit animate.

Go to stockcharts.com/freecharts/yieldcurve.php where you will find a dynamic or "living yield curve, a moving picture of the yield curve over time. Hit the Animate button to start the demonstration. Is the yield curve usually upward- or downward-sloping? What about today's yield curve? How much does the slope of the curve vary? Which varies more: short-term or long-term rates? Can you explain why this might be the case
