The interview is an overview of someone in the CIO position, describing how they got there, issues and challenges in their IT world, and tying it together with the topics we review and discuss in class. It's applying the theory we discuss in this course into one person's practical application of the CIO role. Identify a CIO to interview (using your company is best. If you do not have access to a CIO, do it through research or contact the instructor for an introduction.) Discuss this person's background/resume (degree, work history, various titles held, etc. How and what did they do to get to the CIO position?) Their current company background (name, size, industry, products, etc.). Their CIO Role: organizational structure and size (Departments, titles, etc.).
