Reading the introductory chapter to Schulhofer'stext, consider your own relationship to privacy.How might you feel if every social media (or text message) conversation you've had in the past year had been secretly captured and saved?

4. Without doing any legal research, invent a scenario you believe could justify the reading of the cell phone text of all John Jay students by law enforcement.

5.The phrase Schulhofer discussed in your reaction paper has elements of a Benjamin Franklin quote, "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." Deconstruct and explain your understanding of this quote (there are many) and how it contrasts with security advocates discussed in the Schulhofer text.
