Instead of Information Security, you might research Threat Assessment Management. Instead of Network Engineer, it cold be Cisco Network Administrator. One way to find a job category is to look at current online job listings. There are lots of different job sites, but you could start by Googling \\\"Computer Science jobs\\\" or \\\"Information Technology jobs\\\".

Once you have selected a job category find out more about that job, such as;

• What are the minimum education requirements?
• What do people in this job do?
• Are there certifications or training programs that are important for this job?
• What is the starting salary range?
• What are the opportunities for advancement?

Post what you have learned on the CS and IT Careers discussion board. Each post should be 2-4 paragraphs long. For full credit, avoid duplicating what someone else has said. It is OK to choose the same career field, just make sure you provide some additional information. Be sure to identify your sources of information.
