Now that you have trained the team in Lean Construction principles, it is time to create

the project plan. As described above, this project team is responsible for the successful

completion of the Phase $3$ portion of the project. Your goal is to complete the $5-$level, $35,600$

sf renovation project in eighty$-$three calendar days or less. The plan is to not work on Sundays,

and you will lose $3$ days due to holidays resulting in $69$ work days to complete $$3,756,909$ of

work, or approximately $$54,448$ per work day.

The bid packages illustrated in Figure $4.$ Trade Contractor Schedule of Values were re$-$bid

for all three phases resulting in a new construction team for Phase $3.$ The project included

approximately fifteen trade contractors. The J$.$E$.$ Dunn project team included a Project

Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer and a Lean Specialist to provide training and

support during pull planning and Last Planner$$ activities.

At this point in the project timeline you are approximately one month from starting

construction activities on$-$site. J$.$E$.$ Dunn has scheduled a meeting with the entire project team

stakeholders to conduct an all$-$day Lean Construction training session. To start the meeting,

you would like to discuss the team$$s concerns and any constraints related to getting the work

accomplished. As a team representing all stakeholders, use the construction documents
