Objective:

For this task, you will develop a Social Media campaign brief for Contiki. Contiki is a tourism

company that provides travel packages for $18-35$ year olds. They$$ve been in business for over

$60$ years, and offer over $300$ trips across $6$ continents. Trips are fully curated and include

accommodation, transportation $($within the trip$)$ and various experiences.

As the social media manager, you are preparing a one$-$month campaign to promote Contiki to

its target audience and encourage them to buy a Contiki trip. With the school year ending for

post$-$secondary students $($most finish in mid$-$end April$),$ spring$/$early summer is a busy time for

Contiki.

Your focus for this campaign is on the social media plan ONLY. This could include posts on their

social media platforms, advertising buys on social media platforms, emails to new$/$existing

email lists, Google$/$Bing$/$search engine ad buys, etc. You will not be involved with any other

media.

You will need to do your own research to obtain more details and information about Contiki,

Deliverables:

You must create a full and complete social media marketing brief. ALL sections of the brief must

be completed, with the exception of the Timelines section. Your budget for this campaign is

This brief will be used again for Assignment #$3$ later in the semester. You will use this brief to

create a one$-$month social media content calendar.
