Objective:
This activity has the purpose of helping students to use stacks to solve problems. (Objective 2)
Students Instructions:
Students in this Discussion Board create a thread and answer the following question:
Question: We described an algorithm that reads a string of characters, correcting mistakes along the way. For more info you can
refer to section 6.1.1 of course textbook. Implement the read-and-correct algorithm as a C++ function, but make the stack local
to the function instead of an argument. Let the function construct a string that contains the corrected input characters in forward
order, and return it. Use C++ Standard Template Library (STL) stack instead of the stack defined in this course. Add a comment
and explain if you see any difference between STL stack and our stack methods.
After you answered the above question, read the code posted by one of your classmates and evaluate if the method they
designed a) is correct b) efficient and c) if the you agree with the explanation about STL stack. Therefore you must have a total
of two posts. The deadline for participating in the Discussion Board is indicated on "My Calendar", which is located in "My
Course" in the "Blackboard" platform. The value of this activity is 30 points. 20 points for posting your code and explanation and
10 points for discussing your classmates' code.
